I am an artist working in image, sound, words. etc. I'm from Seattle originally and live in Brooklyn.
Across media I am generally interested in encapsulating loosely defined moments of experimentally produced spontaneity, chaos and destruction. I enjoy recontextualizing and layering the familiar, ordinary and seemingly disparate in ways which synergistically and synaesthetically communicate subconscious experiences.
My vision is that all of humanity looks within for the evolution we seek in the world, where we ourselves embody the peace we want around us. The work of any artist documents her process of self-actualization and my work, too, at once snapshots my own moments while pointing to something more sublime.
Themes in my work include sex, love, existence, violence, injustice, stillness, feminism.
I have collaborated with and contributed to works of artists such as Foresta di Ferro, Theologian, Dusthallowed, Auditor, Martin Bisi, and Yannick Franck. My sound piece "PHAIM!" was included on the compilation that accompanied the January 2016 issue of The Wire magazine. I have published many zines about vegetarianism/veganism, non-fiction, and photography. I have exhibited artwork internationally and my photography has been featured in magazines such as Bizarre and Denzatsu (Japan). I also do some acting and extra work.
