I will perform a solo, experimental guitar piece at this month's Ab Uno Pluribus session alongside Rothwell, Philip White and Sima Visual HH. "Joan Hacker will perform an improvisational piece using a unique and personal way of playing guitar. Building on the tonic sound of hair clippers, she will use her hair, pulsating light and a can of pepper spray to produce sounds and overtones resembling sitar drone and Tuvan singing." Three Jewels, 61 4th Ave, 3rd Fl (Btw 9th & 10th), NYC 7:30pm $10 Curated by WvS, Co-produced by Miah Artola.
